The Netarts-Oceanside Rural Fire Protection District is seeking a dedicated Firefighter/EMT Recruiting Liaison to join our team. This full-time position involves firefighting, emergency medical response, and supporting district programs, with a focus on firefighter recruitment and community outreach.

Key Responsibilities include:
• Respond to fire, medical, and rescue emergencies
• Provide EMT-level medical care and support duty paramedics
• Assist in fire prevention, public education, and training programs
• Manage firefighter recruitment and volunteer coordination
• Maintain fire station equipment, emergency supplies, and EMS inventory
• Represent the district at meetings and community events

Minimum Qualifications:
• Oregon DPSST Firefighter I Certification
• Oregon EMT Basic Certification (minimum 3 years experience)
• Wildland Firefighter Certification
• Experience in rope, water, and wildland firefighting (minimum 1 year)
• Valid Oregon Driver’s License (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
• High school diploma or GED
• Must reside in the district or be willing to relocate before starting

Preferred: Associate degree and interest in obtaining paramedic certification.

Additional Requirements:
• Strong teamwork, communication, and leadership skills
• Ability to respond to emergencies and attend training sessions regularly
• Physical capability to perform firefighting and rescue operations
• Willingness to work in challenging conditions and under stress
